Open, Shut is our first rough cut EP, made for those who are far away in body but close at heart. Inspired by Derrick's time in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Jewell's nostalgia for such places, this album will serve as a marker for our future growth as musicians and humans.

Reminiscent of time spent at home entertaining friends on the spot, Derrick's poignant lyrics are backed by simple instrumentation of guitar and banjo with brushes on the snare and high hat. This sound is filled out with the much appreciated contributions of Dan Eacker on lead guitar, Bethany Joyce on cello and concertina and Matt Pearce on mandolin and harmonica.
